In-game lore widgets

I've toyed around with the campaign designer and the designer in general quite a lot - and it occurred to me that it is a shame that the lore of individual craft is so well tugged away at all times.
Wouldn't it add some immersion into the world of the game to have a system like the favourites menu that keeps a database of enemies you have encountered/defeated by faction? It would display their lore and other useful information for the player, like volume and firepower per weapon class.

Just and idea that came to me. I might make a request feature report soon, to see if interest is more widespread. It could potentially do good for an area of the game that is currently woefully underrepresented.
