learn something new every day I swear (APS shell module placement)

#1
So, while screwing around and testing shells for a very small APS (54mm super fast firing gun) I remembered something I'd heard from a person on the forums or Discord and changed the position of some of the modules inside the shell, keeping a close eye on the Muzzle Velocity and Kinetic damage....

Holy ^&%$ it really DOES make a difference. Seriously??

shell is 6 gunpowder, 1 frag, 4 solid warhead body, and an AP-capped head (in that order). results? MV 378 M/s, Kinetic 657, and AP of 8.8.

Simply by moving the frag warhead to directly behind the nose section, the numbers noticably change: MV 364 M/s, Kinetic 634, and AP drops to 7.6.

By changing the placement of ONE MODULE on a dinky 54mm shell... seriously??

Maker of moderately good: CRAM, APS, and engines.
