Tournament Mod

Welcome!

The tournament mod is designed to do all the pre-battle setup for all those wishing to have tournament style competitions.

Key Features:
  • Customisable disqualification rules (out of bounds checking, no ai)
  • Spawn distance, height and orientation
  • Custom orbit camera (right click to enter orbit mode q/e to switch orbit target, left click to go back to free fly)

Due to the nature of tournaments, I will be posting different versions here for tournaments in progress so they can still use on older versions if needed.

To get the mod to work in 2.16 you have to edit the plugin.json file.

The file will be in:
Documents\From The Depths\Mods\Tournament

right click on plugin.json and select "open with" then choose notepad

replace whats in the file with this:

    FtD_version: "v2.16",
    filename: "Tournament.dll",
    depends: [],
    conflicts: []
}

You'll have to restart FtD once (possibly twice) before the change will take effect.
If it still doesn't work, delete the "disabled.json" in the mod folder.

You'll have to go into the modding menu in order to enable back the mod, then restart FtD.
When a mod is in error, it is automatically disabled and must be enabled back manually.

In FTD v2.16, the HP-calculation by ressource cost is currently broken: I get values above 100% at the start of the match and they persist during it. Also it seems like the orientations for left and right are swapped. If i select "left", i expect the enemy to be on the left side of the entry, but it is on the right one instead and vice versa.
When having problems please provide:
  • An accurate Description
  • A Picture
  • The Blueprint of the vehicle
Otherwise help is not possible.
