advice in CRAM 'tetris'

try having as many autoloader connections to one material as possible (maximum of 6 but 3 or 4 generally works very well for compact designs).
in case of building a multi barrel turret, try using gauge corners instead of gauge cubes and have most of the autoloaders/gauge corners face inwards towards the 6 way connector so that nothing connects on the outside and so that the 6 way connector cant connect to anything unwanted on the outside.
Never sail out to far on the daft raft.
