Light Tank - T305 Leopard

Description :

This light tank get all the specification of a medium tank, a heavy body of 848 tonnes, 22m long for 11m width, with it's very low profile (6 including the detection system), this tank also is quite fast indeed, it can get to the speed of 62 m/s (223 km/h), however, at top speed the tank as stability issues. Its hull is based on the shape of the russian T-64 Tank, however the turret is completely original. The armor thickness is also one of its strengh as a light tank.

It also have a paint job with your team color's, actualy IK's ones.

I recommend you to take out a high RoF APCR tank, else, any aerial unit can screw it up.
That's why I'm still dvelopping him, however, I think that this tank is isn't easy to kill even with destroyed detection system, due to how fast he his Big Grin

Atm, it's countermeasure is basicly any high caliber EMP/APCR spammer, because both MEM and HA are EMP damagable + any else ammo type is pretty much inefficient, and since It's DPM is only 1130 when all clips are full, it isn't going to put out any spammer fast, it's a tank that is more affective in team of 3/4, to propelly cover the lacking DPM.

So I'm thinking about improving it's reparation capability, since if I improve the gun, the turret will be even slower, and it's already too slower to keep up with the vehicule top speed. All tho, I could do a version where I remplace MEM with simple Metal, and it would vastly reduce the weight (from 130 to 40 for a block). But I would lose 16 AC and almost divide the HP poll by 3 (from 665 to 280 for a block), so it's not realy profitable since it would annihilate all the actual strength of the tank.

Short update to the T305 (sorry if you hadn't the time to test out the 1st version, but thoses are wip Tongue (well, you now can compare both version tho Smile ))
The frontal turret armor is more esthetic looking now. The protection over the various detection systems were deleted, now gimbal are slighty more efficient at tracking air units, however, the detector don't detect upwards.
Ammo capacity as been incresed from 800 to 1k, and number of Repair bots also increased, tank stability as been increased, in optimal condition, it's able to hit the 62 m/s and it will stop there, since I was able to stay 2/3 minutes ar this speed before hitting some ground irregularities.
The low profile of this tank brings it to often stop or block itself into some too much tricky mountains/hills, co be carefull when moving it across those kind of region.

Beside those defects, it have good performance at being a scout (fast and good detection), due to his low profile, it also have the capacity to stay a bit stealth (but don't expect too much).

Tank Destroyer - T400 Charge

Description :

This ridiculous looking tank destroyer get a terrible profile (8 block including the detection system), exept that point, it's a brawler tank, with it's very slopped front armor made to bounce shells, and the frontal plate elevation that covers the frontal base of the turret. The turret armor is as thick as the hull (AC = 26), but the front of it is more armored (AC = 35). Th hull as a weakness, it's fixed hull chain gun, you can however delete it and get extra frontal armor. The gun is a massive 400mm HEAT that is very accurate to still be able to snipe (it's not its main fonction tho). But its main feature is ramming ! Tis tank got rams all allong the front, and with it's redicilous mass of 967 tonnes, it can be very punishing against ennemy weaker brawlers. So indeed this tank besides its class can perform brawling with decent effeciency.

As time passed, technological issues putted tanks like the previous Leopard and Charge to serious trouble; loosing battles with our previous vehicules; the Idrillian Army requiered new elements to defeat its threats. For this reason, we ought to work on designs that could both fight for victory but also be technology-wise be accessible to other factions that wished to buy them.

Light Tank - T-175 Yoko

Description :

The LT-175 Yoko is the 1st tank to be designed after that. Despite its wierd shape, it got to a decent speed of 55 m/s on flat terrain and goes up to 40 m/s on cross-country; the only default of the new light tank is the slow turret traverse; tho the gun itself was mounted with a recoilless gun which is offering it great stabilty advantage while firing compared to other productions.

It's the Front of a Panther with a rear somewhat inspired from a Kfw-70 with a turret kinda shaped randomly xD
Tho it could be fun to make an oscillating turret in FtD
