Lore-
Originating from the Iksabar islands, the Caerbannogans were a peaceful people, residing in caves and artificial structures carved into the rocks. Everything changed when the Invaders came. The Caerbannogans believed they were alone, but no longer. The spacefarers invaded and little could be done. Their highly advanced technology decimated the locals, and the concussive blast of their weapons collapsed most of the caves.

The only surviving Caerbannogans were trapped deep underground with no way out and limited food and water from underwater streams and a small farm. The alien invaders were forced to retreat from Iksabar, drawn off by interplanetary conflict. The remaining few Caerbannogans eventually escaped their collapsed refuge, and, fearing further attacks, built up a military. Fearful of the caves they had been imprisoned in, aircraft were seen as the best plan for military, and everything else. With further developments in lift, the sky-farers grew and conquered the nearby continent of Aksibar. The government established full control over resources, since the government in the caves had worked well with rationing and was the only reason they survived. The aliens never returned, their empire crumpled under countless rebellions and economical problems.

Armed scout thrustercraft were sent around the planet and into space to find other, hopefully friendly people and establish colonies. The planet was found to be uninhabited, but nearby planets held life. In a nearby system, a scout flotilla encountered the Reformed Empire of the Isles, and a friendly encounter ensued. Captain Jack Andrews of the lead ship talked with the REOI leadership, and a military technology trade agreement and alliance followed. Captain Andrew's fleet was ambushed by pirates on the way back, and 2 crew were killed, and Jack and another crewman were injured. After beating the pirates, the group returned, and Jack became ambassador to the REOI following his injuries which kept him out of combat.

The REOI informed us of the descendant empire of those who had initially attacked our home world. War was waged, with the REOI aiding us in the war. We have reached their capital and begun attacking their fleets after we invaded and conquered their outlying colonies. We were likely to be in their colonial ambitions, but no longer, as we are striking back to bring revenge for previous actions against us.

Faction Relationships: basic military and technology trade relationships with the REOI

Navy composition:

Airships-
primarily jet and PID thrustercraft

Few planes- mostly small, quick, and cheap fighters

No tanks- following the entrapment underground, most Caerbannogans fear the ground and the possibility of entrapment. It was worsened after a small land colony was swallowed up by a sinkhole with no survivors

Rare ships- certain colonies prefer them as being "safer" and cheaper, but few can stand the water

Subs- Most would rather die than serve on a sub, a few automated patrols exist, but they are few

The Reformed Empire would like to extent an offer, we are willing to join Caerbannog in a retaliatory war against those who Invaded your world and drove you underground.
While it appears the invaders Empire fell, the REOI has identified what appears to be a successor empire. we noticed they seem to have eyes set on Caerbannog.
Our military AI, I.M has stated the likely hood of them invading you as they have taken many of there old colonies.

We are willing to declare war if you deem it necessary, for we are far superior, and wether you join in or not is of course up to you.

To war! We assumed they fell, but it appears they remain. We will join your forces, we would not want to have others fight our war independently for us. Tell us where they are, and we will scramble our fighter and bomber forces and send our airships following them.

Our nuclear engines provide unlimited range, assuming they have food and water, unless we send unmanned craft.

We will not stand being a colony once more! We will set up extra land-based defenses and increase local patrols. The bulk of our forces, however, will join your army groups. We can fight alongside your forces, or in separate battlegroups, whichever you prefer.

(Just wondering, is this an actual active player faction, or will this be an "imaginary" war?)

(If you have vehicles belonging to the enemy there may be actual in game battles but other then that it will be imaginary)
We will happily fight along side your forces as well as in seperate battlegroups, however we will stick with you as long as possible.
We will allow you to make the first moves.

As soon as we recived your message, we began retrofiiting our current forces to modern standards, including minor optimizations and removing of unnecessary components. New paint was addedBig Grin This process is now done, and the fleets are ready to deploy.

Alright, we will send the bulk of our forces with Admiral Chaplain. The First, Second, and Third Battlegroups all consist of 3 Neptunium Class Hovercruisers and 2 support Raptor Mk3 Gunships.

For support, the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Multi-role Squadrons will follow as support and tactical bombers.

We will soon begin a project for a heavy bomber, mainly for land assault purposes and strategic bombing.

We should arrive at your homeworld within 3 of our days, what we calculate to be about 2 rotations of your planet. If you have faster space travel and carriers to transport our fleets, then we can arrive to the enemy lands not long after.

We will intercept your en route vehicles half way and transfer them to our faster transports and take them to Battlefleet Oriosis, which will set of towards the enemy's fringe colonies on the 18th, we will send in the whole of Battlefleet Oriosis, which should allow flexibility in our capabilities.
It will however be spearheaded by our new Gloria Class Battlecruisers.
This is due to the reported shallowness of waters in many enemy worlds.

Permission granted, our admirals have been briefed and are ready for combat.

If the war goes on very long, we should have new heavy bombers, hopefully 5x stronger than the current bombers. hopefully better fighters will follow.

May the war be swift and few of casualties.

We launched an attack on military bases on a single fringe colony, and hoisted our banner, a red cloth with a black circle (red fill) with 15 smaller black circles over captured citys. However the enemy has blockaded us in.
And are bombarding us.
We should however be able to escape, there are bombardments coming in to destroy the enemy vehicles from Imperialis orbit.
